Jáchym Hořejš succeeds Petr Novotný as new Managing Director of the WEEELABEX Organization

Jáchym Hořejš has been appointed as new Managing Director of the WEEELABEX Organization. Jachym has been working for the WEEELABEX Organization for several years as Operations Manager.

1 February 2026, Petr Novotný has left the WEEELABEX Organization. As Managing Director, Petr has led the organization for over 10 years and has turned it into a robust company. The number of certifications has increased and with more countries implementing mandatory Treatement certification and certification for preparation for reuse, and collection and logistics, further growth is guaranteed for the coming years.

The main objective for the WEEELABEX Organization and its members is to ensure that certification of e-waste Treatement according to EN50625 and EN50614 becomes mandatory by law across Europe.
